what fps got u hooked? for me it was "doom".

Yea, probably Doom for me too. I had a disc with that had a bunch of games, so like Wolfenstien, Doom, Duke Nukem, Bad Toys, Quake, etc. and Doom was my favourite. Counter-Strike then took over my life for years when I finally replaced the Windows 95.

Counter strike was my first multiplayer experience but halo 2 got me hooked.

3. Half Life 1-2
4. Counterstrike
5. Quake 1 and 2 (3 and 4 sucked in my opinion) & Duke Nukem 3D (tie)

Doom is worth mentioning as it was the first that I played but i didnt like it at the time... Also, Alien vs Predator, Shadow Warrior and Blood were influences on my FPS gaming tastes

"The World is Not Enough" on N64 is a guilty pleasure of mine. I played that thing WAY too much.

I never owned a shooter on PS2, and now I already own like 4 on PS3.

i own 10 fps on the ps3, and will be buying 6 on the 360 over the next 2 weeks.

I like XIII, the split screen multiplayer was the best since goldeneye.
