Forums - Gaming - Gamesradar - The greatest game on every platform! (All SYSTEMS included!)

If you click the link, they explain their choices quite well (Ocarina's absence included.) It's actually a good list.

Around the Network

N64 - Zelda Ocarina of Time (Goldeneye)

Dreamcast - Shenmue (Shenmue II)

Genesis - Sonic (Streets of Rage)

Xbox - Halo [come on, it is the first part of THE most important FPS console-gaming has ever seen!] (Fable)

Xbox360 - Halo3 (Gears of War2)

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Well, they almost got Okami right.

Okami

To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made.  I won't open my unworthy mouth.

Where the f is mass effect , bioshock and fallout 3?

Dont toy with the J mans emotions gameradar.

 1. Mass Effect Sucks

2. Bioshock is good, but not good enough

3. Fallout 3 could've been 360's runner up at least

Okami 2nd best game on PS2? No fucking way

No you didnt!!

you could not like the game but to say a AAA title sucks is.....well there is nothing to say about it.

Bioshock deserves to be runner up for both the 360 and ps3 it is definetly "good enough".

No, no scratch that  it deserves to be first with both systems it is definetly the best game to come out of this gen.

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

Super Metroid 64?!?!

Pixel Art can be fun.

OkeyDokey mkes a good point in suggesting that the article be read.

This list isn't just about quality, it is also about the utilization of the system and how ground-breaking each game was. Mass Effect was essentially KotOR with a different plot, Bioshock followed on the heels of its predecessors.

It doesn't mean that the games not listed aren't great (they acknowledge that Ocarina may be the best game on the N64), it just means that these are the ones that changed the systems on which they were released.

N64 should be Ocarina of Time (Perfect Dark)  PD > Goldeneye for me.

PS1, AND PS2, too many good games to pick out 2, goes down to taste

360: Rock band? lol that must have been a joke, Plenty of other really good games on the system to be No 2.

Rest of the list is decently done and can agree with.

Systems owned: NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox360

Currently Playing: UNCHARTED 2 !!

Waiting for: FFXIII, GoW3, GT5, Mass Effect 2

Well, since they give their two best games for each system, I'll give mine (that I've played). Let's see how it stacks up...

Genesis: Sonic & Knuckles (Sonic the Hedgehog 2)

SNES: Super Mario World (Super Metroid)

GameBoy: Pokemon Red (Pokemon Silver)

N64: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Banjo-Kazooie)

PlayStation: Crash Bandicoot (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis)

GameBoy Advance: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (Mario & Luigi: SuperStar Saga)

GameCube: Metroid Prime (The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker)

PlayStation 2: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Guitar Hero II)

Xbox: Halo (Star Wars: Battlefront II)

DS: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia)

Wii: Super Mario Galaxy (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)

360: Bioshock (Left 4 Dead)

PC:
WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos/The Frozen Throne (StarCraft)

Knights of the Old Republic made the list...yay!

I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.

There are so better games on PSP than MGS and locoroco ...
