I assume that the embargos are lifted tomorrow, so this is probably an honest review (not a negotiated approved by Sony review). I will be optimistic and say they gave it a 9. The hands on/previews have been fairly positive. I suspect they will enjoy the gameplay, but knock it for being too hard or requiring some sort of effort.

When the reviews go live, please (whoever posts it) post it in the official thread instead of creating another, as it was created to avoid a new thread for every new review that pops in.

They seem to have moved the embargo for Europe up three days. I'm not sure if this holds true for NA or not.

I can't see how a review a month early is okay. We just got news that KZ2 went gold a few days ago. How could they review the multiplayer, etc? Just from the beta? Is their review of the beta then? Is that worthwhile?

I think that the review must be glowing, for Sony to be okay with this. I still think they shouldn't release the review until the game is nearly on store shelves, however -- its going to hurt the sales of other shooters in the meantime.

They also gave Resistance 2 a 9, which surprised me.

I can't see Killzone 2 getting anything lower than that.

You have a fair point but I tend to beleive some people just jump in and out and may never go further than front page so it can be nice to see a seperate thread on it.

They sent out review builds of teh game at the beginnign of January, and they have had access to multiplayer with this build.   The review build isn't the final build, but it's damn close.

There has been an embargo set on all reviewers until February 2nd.  Apparently it has been moved up a few days.  This is no exlcusive review or anything of the sort.

Sony letting just about everybody review the game a whole month before releases speaks volumes about their confidence in the title.
