Nintendo have done it thte right way. Lets release a console without HD Credentials in a very young HD market. See how the HD market goes in the next 2 years then if the time is right (and the cost of implementing HD in the future will be a lot cheaper) they will unleash "wii2"

I hope there is a PS4 that is compatible with PS3 games library. I will buy a PS4 providing it is reasonably priced when it is launched.

If sony release another console, it won't have the playstation brand. That brand is too limited for the expanded market. And if they don't seek out the expanded market they will lose.

If Sony survives this ...umm economic cycle of death and Chaos, or as I like to call it the EC/DC Maybe..

I think they will move on to a new name, After 3 people get in there mind "old hat' or "is this the best they could come up with?"
So I would think a non-numeric name for starters...

If I though there is going to be A Sony in the next 5 years, which I do not.

The market doesn't need three HW vendors, especially when everything is deep into recession, so Sony will be stupid if they don't follow Sega's footsteps. The funniest thing is that Sony studios would sell much better once their games are multiplatform.
