Every now and then a thread pops up reminding me about Jet Force Gemini. The amount of fun I have with that game still leads me to this day to consider it one of my top 10. Well for those of you who haven't played it, there is a point in the game where you put together a robot that follows you through the rest of the entire game. He's just a small little thing that you probably won't notice after a while, but what was fun about him, is if you ever wanted your friend to play he would just press start and be able to take control of the robot. While he couldn't move himself as he always followed you around, (except during small mini type like games that required floyd to maneuver through small spaces) you were given a reticle on the screen. Floyd would always be staring wherever you placed that reticle. Give the trigger a squeeze and he would fire.
Something as small as this made the game so much fun, and if a game isn't going to have co-op via 2 characters, then they need to implement co-op with there own floyd type creation. Make improvements on it via more then one weapon type, something. That's a quick fix to taking very little GPU and PCU power while not losing any entertainment value. I had so much fun with floyd I would like to see it back.
CURRENTLY PLAYING: Warframe, Witcher 2
