Erm i would hold that quote just now , Sony are by no means out this so called video game war just yet only somebody lacking any knowledge of videogames would say so . When it reaches mass market prices do you think all those people who have had ps1 and ps2's are going to just all get Wii's and xbox 360's erm no i don't think so . 2008 to 2009 will dictate who wins not now . It is really strange i remember all the same arguments when Sony first entered the video game market . Let us just wait and see eh stop jumping the gun .

The reason why the console wars always end quickly is because consumers choose their console, developers react to that choice, and it becomes impossible for the slower selling consoles to attract more consumers. Only somebody lacking any knowledge of videogames would say that the PS3 has more than a statistically small probability of outselling the Gamecube let alone the Wii.

The knowledge and logic in this place is becoming more fanboy orientated by the day , it is like a zoo . I am not even going to respond to this apart from saying i do not remember the ps having huge backing for a long while ah well please yourself stay blinkered and we will see after xmas 2008 how different things will look .

So, what did I say that was factually incorrect?

When has a console gone from being one of the worst selling consoles of all time, and been outsold by a wide margin by its competition, came back and lead a generation? That's right, NEVER!

When has a console taken an early lead and used this lead to gain third party support and crush their competition? Pretty much EVERY GENERATION!

The PS3 is selling worse than the Gamecube which means that third parties will likely start giving the PS3 Gamecube level support. This low level of support will likely hurt the PS3 much more dramatically than it hurt the Gamecube because the PS3 will stay at $400 or more  (unlike the $200 or less Gamecube) when its early life system sellers come out; which should cycle to lower than Gamecube level support ...

Deep deep down it doesnt bother me who wins the format war i usually download movies i just think well i might aswell back the side i PREFER and not because its in the PS3,it being in the PS3 is a bonus to me.Sony losing the console war,HA dont make me laugh they might lose against the Wii but they wont agaisnt the X360.

If it is nonsense name 1 CONSOLE that went from selling at 1/2 the rate of its competition (or less) to leading the generation

So for course history always repeats itself does it , we will see after all i remember how much the psp outsold the ds in many areas for quite a while on its release but hey mr fanboy what do i know eh let us leave it at that i will see you jan 09 and that smile will be long gone m8 . 

Oh and just for the record i do remember a certain war back in the good old days where Atari St outsold the Amiga for well over the first year and was cheaper too , then bang we all know the rest ok catch you later !!

Lusas has mentioned that he has no plans to bring any of his IP to HD systems.

It's not surprising considering that he didn't release episode 1 on DVD until 2002 or so and the originals until late 2003 if memory serves correctly.
