I miss the good racers :(

I don't consider three (maybe four if your generous) JRPGs to be a lot of RPGs.
And yes the PS3 only has three JRPGs coming out this year as far as I know.
I think it has alot to do with the wii's graphics. They just don't look attractive after playing a HD console (at least for me anyway). mario galaxy was definitely attractive though but i don't see many if any wii games matching the beauty of that game (not even the conduit with its bland art design).
I have a ps3 and a wii and am dying to play a JRPG on the ps3 but I have not been interested in the slightest in the wii JRPG's - I don't even know any to be honest, and I think that's because wii games look so underwhelming when compared to ps3 games. Now if a JRPG wii game gets 80+ on metacritic then I'll definitely check it out but otherwise I'm not interested.
Anyway, I'm quite happy to bide my time with other games while I wait for WKC, or any decent JRPG to come out on ps3.

You shouldn't be basing games off reviews... |
especially when it comes to JRPGs
I own and dislike the Wii because of a lack of quality in its titles.
This in turn caused many people to upgrade games like NMH and De Blob from being average/good games to being excellent games. Heck, I tried De Blob because of recommendations from this board, and whilst it's a fun little game with a nice premise, the controls aren't precise consistently enough for me to enough the game or vouch for a wiimote over the analogue sticks.
The only game thus far that's convinced me that motion controls are the future is MP3. One single game.
Also, I'm a JRPG fan and the PS2 has more to offer me in the last 2 years than the Wii has. Even Persona 4 alone is better than all the Wii JRPG's thus far COMBINED.
My only hope for the Wii this year is the new FF game and Fragile (in terms of JRPG's).

i used to dislike my wii also, till i added the homebrew channel. VC and Wiiware added new life to my wii.

So do I (and price of course) :P Btw...my uncle got an HDTV and a PS3 :o Want to see it soon. Too bad he bought crappy games for it (Kung Fu Panda and some basketball game...meh :/). |
Well, what are you waiting for?! Buy Valkyria Chronicles now and play it at his house!!!
I have found that, on the majority, the Wii haters tend to gravitate towards Western games, which is where the Wii has failed. I've also found that the Wii haters (dislikers, whatever) tend to desire serious, realistic games with compelling story, immersive graphics and sound, online co-op (or online versus, either way). Pretty much all the features that the Wii lacks. It isn't to say they disdain the kinds of games the Wii gets (though they often do), but they crave immersive, story-driven gameplay
I crave none of that. I prefer simpler games with hidden depth and lots of replay value, which the Wii seems to be setting everything up

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
