Can you get me a link on that? I heard SIREN had a retail disc for PAL territories. I'll switch it to the PSN list if it's not true. Destroy All Humans will be removed when another version comes out. Hour of Victory is coming off.

 

 

Perhaps you could mark temporary exclusives as such, then, since you're trying to create the illusion of being unbiased.

There is no 'illusion' here - he already stated that as these games become available on other systems they will be removed.

Onyx another popular belief is that the PS3 has a 'better variety of exclusives' - could you arrange the lists by genre?

 

I don't think I can. I didn't want to make any assumptions when doing this, just criteria I obtain from other places. If I seperate into genres, I would only do it based on another site's criteria like IGN, not my own since it would be assuming where some should be placed.

@Ninja-What would be quality? Where would I stop on the Metacritic?

 

Quality is entirely in the eye of the beholder but if we want to lean towards objectivity we might say that some things are clearly more quality than others Jay Z vs Soulja Boy for example , but in truth there is no such thing as subjective.

I'd probably rely on metacritic purley because there isn't a better way of comparing quality , that's not to say that metacritic is a good method in the first place.

 

 

Yeah but where do I stop? 70? 60? 50? Quality on the Metacritic scale is 75 but there are a lot of gaming favorites below that. It looks to me that there isn't anything anybody has vouched for below 60. If I do this is that a good place to end?

 

 

When you say quality are you talking about "quality" are you reffering to high end graphics , quality writting , impressive soundtrack or simply how fun the game is to play ?

The prior can be compared more scientifcaly than the latter , if your basicaly trying to compare how fun 360 exclusives are in comparison to how enjoyable PS3 exclusives are then you've taken on a challenge I believe you won't succesfully be able to complete.

It's either you don't understand or don't want to understand what i'm trying to say. It works both ways so accusing me of being a fanboy isn't going to work on this occasion , it's like comparing the taste of oranges to apples or the enjoyment you get of listening to classical music vs gangster rap . How am I a fanboy for asserting that quality in regards to gaming cannot be scientificaly compared.

 

 

There is a reason games cant be scientifically compared , because everyone has an opinion. Your trying to make your opinion as fact when it simply isnt and thats where your fanboyism comes in.

Minus 16 games from the 360 list. So that gives the 360 43 exclusives since the PS3 got released. I could be off by one though. It was a quick check on Meta for the answer. I can give it more detailed later.

Eliminating 360's early exclusives makes no sense at all. Those are all still available for purchase and being enjoyed by gamers who buy a 360. The basis of this thread is to debunk a myth related to the total quality of each console's exclusive library, which consists of old and new games alike.

Cut out the wall of quotes guys, geeze.

Interesting thread here. Lots of weird disputes though. Such as removing games before the PS3 release. So these games no longer available for the 360 after the PS3 releases? People can still play them. And people can only play them on 360.

You just put yourself into the shoes of every 360 fan that has made this exact point about PC/360 releases being exclusives when others were telling them they weren't. Where do you stand on that issue Max?
