i made the jump last year and completed the triple console threat (ps3 then wii then 360).

Why should I buy a console that has absolutely no interesting exclusive games? All interesting games are either on the PS3 or PC, and even 360/PC-only games are pretty few. Besides, I hate M$. Oh, and Arcade is terrible anyway so it's probably more like 239€ here. Even if I had the money, I'd have better use for it, like upgrading my PC (my graphics card is ancient, and a new one won't cost $200 btw; more like $100) or buying a TFT monitor for my PC.

Same here, except I own a 360 and while I can afford a PS3, Wii & DS (I own 360 & PSP), I just won't have time to play them, and can't see spending another $400 when I have other things to spend it on.

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

But that $200 gives you access to the biggest hd library and gives you more options for games.

no wii and ds have the biggest librery, but there are only 3 games i like on the wii and that wont make me buy a wii

I've almost "jumped in" a few times, other than Alan Wake what games are there to entice me into picking one up like its a mars bar.

What will I do with 3 consoles? Already have a PS3 (for me) and a Wii (for wife and kid)

Buying a 360 at $200 is basically a criminal act so why havent you jumped in?

There is nothing better this gen then to be a dual hd console owner so follow the J mans lead and become one.

I've already "jumped in" but don't use the $200 price point as a persuasion method. The Arcade is the only system in the history of consoles in which you cannot attain the "full experience" right out of the box

I don't have the money to support so many systems.

This thread seems much less civil than the other one.
