"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

Shadow of the Colossus: This game is not only epic in scale, but it is timeless. Once you've defeated your first Colossus, you will be addicted, and each Colossi gets harder and harder. Team ICO made a brilliant game and it shows around every bend. The sheer size of the world is staggering. I haven't enjoyed an Adventure game like this in a long, long time. I look forward to Team ICO's next project!

I am WEEzY. You can suck my Nintendo loving BALLS!

I see a few posting Ocarina of Time, which I enjoyed myself, but how does Majora's Mask fare compared to the prequel? I never tried it, and my N64 went bust a couple of years back... Emulator just won't be the same!

PS: No one mentioned Duke Nuke'Em yet! WTF? The deep dialogue alone would make it an instant classic: "It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all outta gum..." or: "I'm gonna twist your head off ad shit down your neck"
Christ have mercy... Go Duke.

Metroid Prime/Super Metroid - Atmospheric, Claustrophobic [in a good way], DEEP DEEP DEEEEEEP plus very challenging. I prefare Prime a little more than SM since 3D made Samus's world as well as herself look, feel and play awsome.

Golden Sun: The Lost Age - I love the first GS nearly as much as TLA but since TLA is much bigger, has a much deeper storyline and introduces cool new elements it has a very special place in my heart as the very very very best game I ever played. Loved every second.

Mario Kart DS/Crash Team Racing - The. Most. Fun. I. Ever. Had. With. 2/4-player games. Nuff' said!

Super Mario Bros./NSMB - Addictive!!! And classy tune :D NSMB brings back the addictivity but with a fresh coat of paint :D

The Legend Of Zelda AlttP, OoT, WW & TP - Definately my favourite action/adventure games. WW being at the top of my list with OoT and TP close second!

Super Mairo 64 - Does this one really need a description?

Crash Bandicoot[PS1]/Rachet & Clank Series - best platformers EVER right after SM64.

"She can feel it changing her. It's becoming a part of her, corrupting her. But what frightens her most... she likes it!" - Effects of Phazon corruption.

Metroid Prime 3 Hype Level: Corrupted

Reviews:

1UP - 9.0

IGN - 9.5

It is a hardcore game through and through. You will get your ass kicked by bosses. You will be stumped by the sometimes complex, but never overbearing, exploration.

I cannot believe not one person has said Castlevania Symphony of the Night, or Nocturn in the Moonlight wherever you are from (I can't remember, think I bought both). That game was a great package. One of the last great beautiful 2d games when 3d was becoming the norm. Music was exceptional. Had both action and rpg elements. I dunno, game was just amazing if you ask me. And when you do ask someone what the best game they've played was it's usually a tough question that takes some thought, but SOTN always jumps out right away for me.

Ok I did my part, I bought No More Heroes, but they were out of Zach and Wiki.

Ok got Zach and Wiki, now if I could just finally finish Twilight Princess so I can play all these Wii games I got waiting. And no I won't buy Okami.

DNF, now there is a game that should have been scrapped completely. Reminds me of a kid whose been in school for 12 years and still doesn't know what he wants to do. At one point you just need to man up and get a job.

This thread has actually moved along quite nicely, I'll post another one with the opposite question.
