Forums - Nintendo - GCN still kickin!

My mother is a dental hygenist and on occasion, I'll go to work with her and sub in for one of the dental assistants. I get paid $10/hour for just cleaning dental tools. Sweet deal. And since it's under the table (=X), no taxes! :D

Anyway, they recently redid their entire office and when I went in for the first time after the remodel, I went to their new arcade area. Prior to the renovations, they had a small arcade with a PS2 and two GCN's. A few years ago it was a N64, PS1, and a Pac-man Arcade. Anyway, I walked into the arcade and I saw ten GCN's hooked up to 14" monitors. No PS2's or nothing.

Ten of the twenty million GCN's have found their home in a dental office. 8D

Dentist? Arcade?

It isn't a state-operated one then?

It's quite funny actually!

I have a lot of friends who never had a Cube but want to play the good cubegames on their Wiis. They lend games from me occasionally because I have collected almost all good Gamecube games but want to buy a few ones for themselves also, so they search the gamestores for 2nd-hand cube-gems.

The brilliant thing however is; A new gamestore just opened their doors and they offer A LOT of gamecube games with really rare ones in their selection like MGS: The Twin Snakes, Tales of Symphonia and DK: Jungle Beat. All for a reasonable price of 10-20 euros. I guess to satisfy the demand from Wii owners that wish to play Cube-games.

All in all, the Cube may have stopped selling. It's software has not! And with the Wii-makes it'll 'recycle' the Cube-titles with enhanced controlls. For EXTRA revenue! Smart bastards ...

THE NETHERLANDS

You must not have looked closely... they obviously bought 5 Wii's and cut the duct tape, to get the 10 GameCube's that were in there.

but here's something you'll really like

the atari jaguar also sees life in dental offices, but not as an arcade, but as a full blown dental tool.... or atleast the casing design

Aww give the state credit. They would be rocking GameBoy fats with maybe a game.

None of that stuff at my dad's surgery here in the UK, just year old magazines.

What games did they have?

A dentist with an arcade, that sounds pretty cool.
