At first I thought Pristine simply had difficulty processing higher mental cognition. After all, someone who blindly spews garbage and defends it by saying hey its just my opinion can't be a very astute person. "Hey I think all black people should still be slaves but don't get mad at me it's just my opinion so my point is just as valid as yours." Or better yet, “Since the divorce rate has risen that means love doesn't exist, also this summer was really hot so the sun is getting hotter.” I mean any person with half a brain can see how the very core of Pristine's arguments are innately laughable and idiotic.

However after reading his last few posts I think I finally understand him and to be honest I feel sorry for him. He must be a very lonely and pathetic person to believe what he does. I guess the best we can hope for him is that something or someone brings him to his senses so that he doesn't live out the rest of his days as a socially degenerate loser.

Damn man this escalated a lot but honestly I don't understand why people are hating so much on one person's opinion. I mean while the majority of us did say we would prefer girls to games in reality how many actually do that. I mean in the five or so hours that I have between the time I get done with my day and the time I start preparing for the next do I

A) try to go out, go someplace (bar?) and pick up on a girl
or
B) go home relax, play some video games

Honestly all my weekdays where I do not go to a sporting event with friends are spent doing B. Even on weekends when I go out with friends most of the time its them trying to go up to the girls while I just enjoy doing whatever it is we went to do, bowling...drinking..watching sports..etc..heck lately the past couple weekends I have stayed home playing games, drink some beer here, as opposed to going out and wasting my money at a club.

So despite the fact that I say girl over games thats just something that deep down I wish would happen as opposed to how I'm going about life. My actions clearly seem to show that I favor video games to girls, but again that comes from experience of being burned the past couple long term relationships and not being in the mood to deal with them at the moment. I'm just enjoying myself for what it is, preoccupied with work then having a few brewskies and playing games man. Let the man live the way, not every guy is trying to hit up every girl they meet. My friends make fun of me every time we go to bars and stuff cuz they always come away with numbers while if I even talk up a girl I won't bother to ask for a number, I'm content with enjoying the conversation we had at the place and letting it be.

Right now video games give me a way to release myself from the troubles and headaches I get from work and they currently provide me with calming comfort to get me by my day. Not everyone wants or needs the human interaction to be happy in their lives and thats what others need to realize.

You've given enough evidence in this thread to earn the title (like: The only thing keeping women in "check" is the fear of being branded "sluts" by society)...  then taking things a step further to make things too damn personal telling her that "You'll be rid of the "fairytales" soon enough", "You're no fairlytale" and much like outlaw said that's basically putting yourself above her and deciding that she somehow believes she has a good relationship because of social conditioning and fairytales... could it possibly be that two people actually care about each other (love) and you don't have the right to say something so personal to someone especially someone you don't know nor know her situation...  So really get over yourself, if you got opinions that's fine, but if you're going to say something like that to someone keep it to yourself...

I'm not defending the .. ideas or whatever that are underlined by the sentance, but in defence of the sentance itself.  If you were to think about it logically, how apt would men and women be, to socialize with one another if there was no such thing as sex, both as pleasure and as a function for populating the species.  Think about it.  I truly believe without sex drives things would remain the same as 1st grade.  Most "boys" wouldn't take in interest in "girls", mostly due to wildly different tastes.  ESPECIALLY when it comes to music.  Hell that alone would seperate the two of us indefinatly.
