I only buy the ones on sale or the ones that are *really* good. My last purchases were Bottle Rocket, Chungking Express and The Dark Knight. I have respectable small collection.

By all means buy it. These films never looked better.

I buy them when they reach 10-12 pounds price range.
But so far I'm mostly getting my favourite movies I have seen before.

I'm still waiting for serious selection of anime to reach europe.

BTW does anyone have good database of regions on US bluray releases ? Becouse amazon used to show this info on main page but has removed it few months ago.

I got the die hard quadriology on blu-ray for $93 AUD and then a few weeks later I saw it for $55 AUD. But worth it

Im not gonna double dip my DVD movies. Im just gonna pick up big budget special effects type movies.
BUT I will make an exception for double dippin when LOTR trilogy comes out on BR and probably Star Wars as well.

So far I've bought the Planet Earth box set (fully reccomend this), a collection of pixar's short films including interviews, making of etc (it's interesting) and I've bought Kung Fu Hustle because it was only 15euro. Most places are doing 2 blu-ray films for 40 euro, which is a good price but they never seem to have two decent films for offer : P friends have lent me films like Black Hawk Down, Behing enemy lines and Blade Runner (which is awesome, one of my all time fav's)

I was never one to often buy films on dvd, but now because they are HD I see more of a reson to get my favorite ones : ) I think I still buy films at the same rate as I used to, but all blu-ray now instead of DVD.

I have not bought any just rent them from Blockbuster.com. If they drop the price I might pick some up.

I own about 200 DvD's but I will only replace the best ones that is Action/Adventure/sci-fi

so far I have 20 Blu-Ray movies.

It's a big difference between a DvD and Blu-Ray on a 108'' screen(with a 1080p Projector)

Strange only have 1 PS3 game
