Yeah I think most Europeans like Barack Obama, but that does not mean he's the leader of anything except the USA.

He is the leader of the USA and its vassals. The foreign policy wishes of the electorate of most european countries has been demonstrated to be irrelevant in nearly every instance it has run counter to US goals.
