Yeah Rare's been crap ever since Nintendo sold 'em to MS. Good riddance too.

I don't see any difference between now and then. Everybody can flame away but I always thought that games like Donkey Kong Country, GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark were overrated so the quality of Rare's games now-a-days is no big surprise to me.

The new Banjo was a return to form as far as I'm concerned.

I have to agree. I loved DKC and the other games (but especially DKC) Rare made in the SNES/N64 era. They were so fun! ^^

There isn't anything they make today that seems as good. =/ I'm not a Nintendo Fangirl, in fact I like the 360, but I really think Rare made better stuff for Ninty platforms.

When Rare and Nintendo split they had to resolve a tons of IPs cross-right ( in the case of DK , Rare created all the characters post Donkey Kong Country. Even the currently official design of the character Donkey Kong was done by Rare. )

When Rare departed Nintendo keep for themselves the right on all the work Rare did on the Donkey Kong IP.

rare is gone for good and that a fact . there games are down the hole .

Seconded. Jet Force was epic and fun as hell. As for Rare since Banjo Nuts & Bolt was kinda a success, a surefire hit is needed to continue the good roll. Revive KI and Combat Amphibians.  

GoldenEye overrated? It is one of the best shooters of all time!
