you are contradicting yourself. By it being exclusive to one platform it would not appear on the other. Microsoft does not have exclusive publishing rights to pcs either. Pc software sales has a negative effect on xbox 360 software sales. Alas they are in direct competition.

I just answered correctly. You may all proceed to thank me now.

M$ has published several first party XBox brand/PC games.  That is what exclusive publishing rights means.  Meaning that if Fable 2 comes out on PC, M$ will have to have published it.  Meaning M$ thinks that Fable 2 on PC/360 will generate more money than having it only on the 360.

Yes they have published several titles. Just because they publish several titles does not earn them the right to all titles that they do not publish. Infact, the titles they publish for both the xbox and the pc ARE MULTIPLATFORM Yes ! it's true ! They are Multiplatform titles ! Why do you think they are delayed ? It was even said by someone else, They don't want too many conflicting sales which might hurt their console brand. I mean comon. It's fairly obvious.

1. Where did I say that they have rights to all pc games?

2. Where did I say that they were not multiplatform games?

I am merely saying that if M$ thinks that they can make money from the PC market with a 360 game, they will sure as hell do it.  Just like Valve thinks that they will not alienate their pc fanboys(or perhaps not get potential Steam users) by releasing L4D onto the 360, which generated a shit ton of sales for 360.  This game could have been considered a pc exclusive that was expanded to the 360.

I'd still concider that a multiplat game. In either way. And I hope EA gets their fingers out thier ass and port it (properly) to the triple. It's a pretty damn cool game, but i wouldn't wanna play it alone. Only seems to be good for local co-op (which it then excels at) which is why I haven't gotten it for my pc yet.

Check out my game about moles ^

i dont get how games on pc/360 are xbox 360 exclusives

i dont consider them exclusives because i have a kick ass gaming pc which will run all those 360 "exclusive" games at 3x the resolution at 60fps

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

I don't think microsoft cares.

BTW, yes, bioshock came out later on the ps3, but it doesn't make my point any less valid.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

It's quite simple.

In terms of exclusivity as we term it in the video games race. I sit there and say "What games does each system give me that I can't get everywhere".

PC has games that can only be played on the PC. Xbox 360 has games that can only be played on the Xbox 360. Wii has games that can only be played on the Wii. PS3 has games that can only be played on the PS3.

The problem with the Xbox 360 is you don't NEED an Xbox 360 to play a vast majority of their games. If you merely have an average PC nowadays, you can play and enjoy most of the good games on the Xbox 360.

So the choice then basically comes down to, Do I want to buy an Xbox 360 for Gears of War and Halo, etc....Or a PS3 for Uncharted, Warhawk, LBP, MGS4, Resistance, KZ2, God of War, etc?

Ofcourse the PS3 would be the choice.

If you have atleast an average PC, it makes virtually no sense to purchase an Xbox 360.

**EDIT**

And just because you don't want to count PC games as a platform,  PC is every bit the platform that Xbox 360/PS3/Wii are.  Left 4 Dead,  Team Fortress, etc  are PC games that were ported to the 360.  It's not exclusive to the Xbox 360 period.

Yep, they were PC exclusives that are no longer exclusive thanks to the 360.  1.34 million 360 owners didn't buy Left 4 Dead on the pc.  I guess 1.34 million people did not have an average pc.

Just because some people recognise PC/360 titles as being synomymous with 360 exclusive doesn't make it so.

Define : Exclusive

  1. Not allowing something else; incompatible: mutually exclusive conditions.
  2. Not divided or shared with others: exclusive publishing rights.
  3. Not accompanied by others; single or sole: your exclusive function.
  4. Complete; undivided: gained their exclusive attention.
  5. Not including the specified extremes or limits, but only the area between them: 20–25, exclusive; that is, 21, 22, 23 and 24.
  6. Excluding some or most, as from membership or participation: an exclusive club.

Isn't the definition you provided that I just highlighted in red exactly what we're talking about here, or does that form of exclusivity not count?

you are contradicting yourself. By it being exclusive to one platform it would not appear on the other. Microsoft does not have exclusive publishing rights to pcs either. Pc software sales has a negative effect on xbox 360 software sales. Alas they are in direct competition.

How could I have contradicted myself? I highlighted a definition provided by someone else and asked a question. For me to contradict myself, wouldn't I had to have made at least one more statement or question so one could contradict the other? You really don't make any sense here.

You're right.  1.34 million people did not have an average PC,  or preferred to play it on the Xbox 360.  The point is and will remain,  that this doesn't quantify the game as an Xbox 360 exclusive.   Good for Microsoft (They make more money)  but  really they aren't providing you (The gamer) with much that you couldn't get with an average PC.

Wii and PS3 on the flip side actually do.
