You do realise that the only non "EVIL" gaming company out there is nintendo right?  And that is mainly because of the size of the company is so small.  Sony is just as cut throat as M$ if not even worse.  And at the very least Bill Gates donates more money to good charities than almost anyone on the planet.

nope, because it will still not have any of the games i would want to play, aside from viva pinata.

and yes, i think shooters are the scourge of gaming, and that it is what gives gaming it's bad rep in the eyes of all the non-gamers.

No, 'cause I'd eventually have to pay for XBL, those games don't appeal to me, and I find 325 bucks too expensive. Also, even though you'd get a 3-year RROD warranty, that doesn't guarantee I wouldn't get a RROD. And if that happened I'd still have to get the thing fixed or replaced, even if it wouldn't cost me a thing.

No. I might buy a ps3 but never a 360. The games are good, the control is spot on in size but I don't like the idea to buy a product from Microsoft. The fact they released a defective product and, despite knowing the problem, continued to try to fool its customers that the console was good is inexcusable in my opinion. They simply lost any chance I will ever thrust them.

No your so wrong on who's evil! Every company are greedy indeed but not all are a good company, M$ is one of the evil ones. How?
We all know they're a monopoly of theft in OS, you think they wouldn't do the same with the game industry??? Can you imagine if M$ taking over the gaming industry:

*$1000 console
*$150 games
*$120 yearly live
*no warranties for RROD

And bill gates donate money to avoid paying tax, even though he donate WAY less than want the taxation were going to take from him. Which mean bill gates is a tax fraud!!!

That some of the small reasons why I boycott M$, and so should you and everyone else! Support the good company that is Sony & Nintendo.

I could have bought a PS3 once under 300€ if it had enough RAM to be usable also as a general purpose PC, but as things actually stand, I could buy only a Wii, to complement my PC (but not at the current price).

No, your package doesn't include a free HDTV that I would need to enjoy most games I'd want on the system. Although Lips could be interesting to play with family or friends, it's not really a must-have for me. As for Gears of Wars 2, I'd need to play the first GoW to really be interested in the deal.

Also, 13-month free XB Live and 3-year warranty on RROD still don't feel enough for me.
