Baggins said: "Look outside the box people"....or inside rather lol. I remember last gen, the PS2 was the thing to buy and the Xbox just didn't look that appealing I'm not sure what it was about it, it just didn't have it. But I've grown up into an adult since then and now go for the games and don't let my bias inflict upon my judgment. I think a lot of PS3 diehards look at things how I used to. You're in effect just "playing it safe" and not taking the easy route by not giving the Xbox 360 a chance at this point. Unlike the first Xbox where there weren't that many great games and a lot of the really good ones were niche market that wouldn't appeal to everyone. The Xbox 360 has it all however, apart from RROD which is in the past for the most part and has a 3 year warranty to cover you there really isn't a reason for your foggy viewpoint and maybe you should try adujusting your view to the 21st century.
You guys just sound scared of enjoying yourselves!

what are you talking about? I had a 360 (from Jan 08 to June 08) and sold it to help me purchase a ps3. I also own a wii, so I don't think my judgement is clouded at all. I can't really justify buying a third console when it is so similar to a console I already own (ps3). I also think the ps3 is actually a better built console with more features to enjoy (wifi, free online, blu-ray, rechargable controllers, firmware updates & more) than the 360. On the games side - I'll admit the 360 has a decent if not great line up of games - the problem is though that most of those games I've already played when I had a 360, are on ps3, or are yet to be released. On top of that there are no games apart from mass effect 2 that make me want to go out and buy a 360, and until mass effect 2 is released purchasing a 360 won't even come into my mind.
