One of the main selling points of the 360 is its costs. It's interesting to see people who have basically chosen the Sony side of things now finally start to debate over weather or not to get a second console, simply because basically the most customizable version of the 360 is really, really cheap. With an arcade, you can be certain you are getting the latest 360 chip now, because of the internal memory design change that accompanies the new chips, so yeah, it's hard to not thing about buying one.

The 360 is easily worth the 199 price tag.

The same cannot be said for the PS3, and even if it could be said, 399 is still a lot of money, worth it or not.

The more I think about it, the more I believe that the 360 might just have a chance to hold on to 2nd place this generation. It'll all depend on Sony and their aggressiveness in price-cutting.

On topic, there are quite a few exclusives on the 360 that easily make the console purchase worthy. If you don't have a gaming PC, or a PS3, the must have choice is the 360 right now, so you can play most of the big AAA HD games without having to spend much time or money accuring the platforms on which they are played. If you already have another HD platform, 199 is a very reasonable price to simply play the upcoming and previously filed Xbox 360 exclusives.

A few I recommend are Tales of Vesperia, Gears 2, Crackdown, and Fable 2. If you only have a PS3, let me highly recommend L4D, Gears of War, Mass Effect, and you should also probably rebuy Fallout 3 or GTAIV, because the DLC coming for those games to the PC and PC360 seem like they might be epic in scope.

First and foremost this isnt about the money or the price that attracted me to thinking about the 360. It was actually the thought of Jade Empire 2 and Lost Odyssey that got me thinking maybe I should ignore the fail that was Vista and trust MS again.

My PS3 is worth the 549.99 that I dropped on it and I havent regretted that purchase since. I will only be using a 360 for its exclusives and Multiplats that are damn near unplayable on the PS3 a la The Orange Box.  But another thing that has me seeing this as a possible redundant choice is because of rumors that Mass Effect 2, Tales of Vesperia and Left 4 Dead, TLR are coming to the 360.

Honestly I wouldnt even consider the Arcade based on the fact I count it as a rip-off since it doesnt offer the HDD and that is almost an extra 100.00 where Im from.

It would defintely be the Pro or Elite...(More likely the Pro I already have a black console ;) But after seeing the latest SO4 trailer Im very interested in it but even then the rumors of it getting Ported to PS3 are ever persistant.

Infinite Undiscovery doesnt look like my cup of tea it kind of looks Bland to me.

As of now Im a PS3 owner and Im in love with it. However that doesnt mean Im against the Idea of Purchasing the other consoles. But the 360 has always seemed to be that Shooter-only console and I find myself an RPG, Action type gamer and I would like to Know if the 360 can cater to me the way my PS3 has so far (although I will Admit The RPG front is disappointing at the moment)

I know SO4 is coming to the 360 but how good is LO and Blue Dragon? Should I just stick to the PS3 or would investing in a 360 a good idea? Also Im not that big on Paying for Online as I think it should be free

lost odyssey is a fantastic game. blue dragon sucks. last remnant sucks. infinite undiscovery i haven't played, but heard good things about. some people didn't like it. tales of vesperia kicks ass. star ocean 4 is going to kick ass. mass effect kicks ass. but over anything else...

GET ETERNAL SONATA

I say go for it, I have both PS3 and 360 and love both of them. The 360 is inexpensive, and has a great library of quality exclusives. What more could you want?

Go buy one...Halo 3, Gears 2, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Dead Rising, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia and already for 2009 is Fallout 3 DLC, GTA4 DLC, Halo Wars, Halo 3 ODST, Alan Wake, Star Ocean 4 and more to come!

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

Fable 2 is a great RPG experience. I'm not in RPG and I'm having a great time with it.

Don't let those PS3 fanboys saying that the 360 is only about shooters... while those hypocrits are waiting for a KZ2 to dig them out of their misery...

Besides, even if it is true that their is a lot of good fps on the 360, you get the best online env for a console, and that is a plus for playing them.

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

As a PS3/360 owner I say its well worth it to own both. I like all forms of RPGs and im well catered for, even if I bought every multi-plat on the PS3.

Tease.

Dude, You should only get 1 console from every generation.

It wasnt PS3 fanboys that painted that image. It was Microsoft itself and the fact that the Major High Selling games on it (Halo 3 and GeoW) were both of the shooter genre. @Squilliam thats the kind of response Im looking for. The fact that you are very well catered to and yet you buy most games on PS3 is the kind of situation Im trying to put myself in.

To the Others DLC really isnt my thing and the fact that I think that DLC should be free doesnt really help my opinion on Dev's (besides Rockstar an additonal 6hrs is impressive and well worth the high price Same with Insomniac) who charge for DLC at all this goes for PS3 devs as well it PIsses me the fuck off, I paid 60 bucks for a game that should warrant a free costume every now and then on its own
