I'm still playing de Blob (I have about three levels to go I guess) and it's awesome. Glad to see it's doing so well.
NPD shows that from the September release up to and including the holiday season, de Blob sold 230k. We might be overtracking a bit as we have it at 500k in the Americas. The good news is, THQ is pleased with worldwide sales. So it might even be higher than 230k in Others. Let's hope it has legs and does over a million.

Twice as much, but i think neither is right or wrong untill we see THQ's actual sales figures.
From what is suggested here it was a brilliant success for THQ and it was enough to warrant a sequel. If its above 250 k then clearly succesfull games on Wii should be measured by a lower standard of profit than PS360 titles.
This is all great news especially following NMH2 annoucement.

probably overtracked, vgchartz has it at 455k on december 27th, if you add 10% to NPD you get 280k. Obviously this is only NA, it's still good though.

Be patient, how do you know NPD isn't wrong? It will be adjusted accordingly if VGC made an error.

I really don't believe NPD is undertracking De Blob 100%. If you said something like 20% i would be fine with it.

I read the op as saying the game sold 230k total in the december npd. But everyone else seems to be taking the article as saying 230k sales from launch to the end of december.
If the numbers are just for december npd then the title not need be overtracked at all.
I find self deprciation is the best way for humorless people to be socialble.
