Is the processor dual or single core? If it's dual, you might get some acceptable play out of slightly outdated games if you swap out the ram for 4 gigs.
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

Don't get a laptop for gaming. If you must play SOME games on it, get one that has a cheap discrete GPU that doesn't inflate the price that much. I have one like this that will let me play source engine games should I ever want to on the go.
For serious gaming though, including brand new games, buying a laptop is a waste of money. Buy yourself a desktop that can run circles around a laptop that costs double the price.


Get a desktop to play games at home and then a Gameboy for playing games mobile.
