Forums - Sony - Killzone 2: GamePro Review 5/5

Let's just wait one to two months when the game is launched and gamers have played the game and then it can be compared to the stellar shooters already available on the market.

Most of these game reviews are nonsense and should not be available two months before the game releases. One week before a game launched is acceptable but one or two months before it is released is ridiculous

GTA IV had high reviews and we all know that game received mixed reviews from gamers.

that's due to receiving the finaol review code 2 months before the lauch ,,,but Sony asked them not to release the scores till feburary 2,,,some listened and as you can see some did not listen.

anyways ,,you are definitely right,,,it's too immature to call the game superb/AAA ,but it's safe to assume that it's not gonne be  like HAZE ,too human or even first killzone.

i don't know why people keep insisting that the game is not good when every review says it's good.

maybe it's because eating crow is kinda hard?

5 out 5 = 100%?
Cons of the game should of meant the game gets a score of 4.5 out of 5 at best. No auto-aim, ugly menus and frame rate issues when loading new areas.
Wait it is only Gamepro. I would wait until we see some better reviewers of this game.
How come there is a new thread for every Kill Zone 2 review? There must be over 100 threads relating to Kill Zone 2 on VGChartz alone. One official Kill Zone 2 thread should be stickied and all the reviews should be put in that one thread.

Are you kidding me? Of course 5/5 = 100%. It's a fraction, and when the numerator equals the denominator, the result is 1 (or 100%). Also, I'm guessing you didn't pay attention to the thread where it was stated that the framerate stutters (which do NOT interrupt the gameplay at all) are corrected for the final build. Also, I didn't know that not having auto aim means its bad, its a decision, not a flaw. Hmm...I didn't know u played the menus, obviously menus are very important for the game to be good/fun. Let's say that those are flaws and it should get a 4.5 out 5, is that SUCH a bad score? Grow up and stop hating for no reason other than it being on the PS3 only.

A direct quote on aiming issues from gaf:

Aiming at enemy targets that are at a distance can also be frustrating if you're not carrying a sniper rifle, especially for FPS vets accustomed to the precise aiming featured in games like Call of Duty.

Finally a game where every weapon isn't a sniper!

KZ2 is looking better every day!

Edit -Fixed a typo

But....gamers already have played the game. Tons of people have already played the MP and SP and it's been getting nothing but massive praise. I don't understand what you see so ridiculous about all these early reviews - the game has already gone gold, it's done. There's no more work to be finished.

Anyways, I'm really stoked about this game - it's the only reason I bought a PS3. Before the refund date expired, I was reading pretty much every piece of info I could on this game. I seriously can't see any other FPS out on consoles that could satisfy me as much as KZ2 can. It's the small things that really brought me in, such as emphasis on your character/gun's weight, weak auto-aim, etc. I'll be ordering from Gamestop to get the demo. Only about 10 more days now....

There must be a reason they gave it a 5/5. I am getting it on the 25th Feb anyway. Dont need nobody to tell me how great the game is
