Bahahaha, I have to admit that that does look pretty fun, though part of what makes DBZ:BT3 so appealing is how often and how violently you can throw around the Blast 2 (super moves). Is Ninja Storm more combo-based by necessity, or is that just something that high level players do (like in BT3)?

Glad you liked it Khuu!

And i dunno, dont own the game myself "YET" but from what i seen from the demo, no, you gotta be skilled to move that damn quickly. :/

Not so much combo heavy as that's just one element to how it plays, me and my friends play it very strategically, like setting traps, if you come in for a rush attack, we'll dodge hit you with a powerful jutsu (kinda like super moves) or use something as a distraction while we call a partner to pound you.

There's a lot of elements of play, but it's very smooth and fluid, stays very true to the series, and it's a damn good game (expect ultimate ninja mode is a huge chore at times :( )

Yup, exactly well summed up Max.

In my experience, being the best anime-based video game is roughly equivalent to the title of best movie-based game; Not exactly promising.

Is the game actually good? Because I might consider buying this thing, since my friends tend to play stuff like Tekken when they're wasted.

I have to say this Game is in my top 3 Wii games, i played it much more then Brawl, Mario Kart etc. etc. because many of my family members do like dragon ball and playing it on the wii with those motion controlls is amazing.

The game is fun as Hell on its own merits, but the only way your friends are goign to appreciate it is if they like DBZ.

Do they like DBZ?

If the answer is yes, then this game is awesome.

If the answer is no, then this is not a fighting game of that kind and they will probably hate it if you present it to them as such.

hmmm I prefer budokai 3 and the ultimate ninja naruto games on ps2. Tenkaichi 3 I didn't like much(then again I only played it once and its been put away ever since)

For PS2, i prefer Dragonball Budokai 3. But i really enjoy Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm for PS3 much more.

Man I cannot imagine getting into the Budokai series.

If I wanted a decent fighting game I'd play something by Capcom.

I'd vote for Magic Knight Rayearth for the Sega Saturn.

I'll say budokai 3, way more fun, at least for me.

The same here

NUNS was a lot of fun when I played it at my cousin's house. I intend on buying it at some point, probaly. One Piece: Unlimited Adventure for the Wii was also an amazing anime game, I really recommend it to everyone who likes One Piece.

what about the Zatch Bell games anyone? lol. they were fairly bad but fairly awesome. also IGPX PS2 game, Samurai CHamploo PS2 game...
