But...but...Panzer Dragoon is a much better rail shooter than Valkyria is. The rail shooting in Valkyria sucks!

I'm looking at Ign upcoming xbox360 games and House of the Dead 4 is being released on the HD console. If you never played House of the dead 4 on the arcades back in 2005 the game was advanced for its time, finally Sega releasing it. House of the Dead 4 on 360 is vaporware. It's been on the list for years and Sega hasn't commented on putting it on 360 since 2005, before the console was even released! Plus there is no lightgun for 360, meaning Sega will have to develop one and sell it. I doubt they'll do that. It would be more profitable to drop the graphics down a bit and release it on Wii. I guarantee if the game does come out, it's going to Wii. Sega is building their HOTD fanbase there now.

 

Actually, I remember Sega saying that if HOTD2&3 sold well, they would bring HOTD4 to the Wii.

Sorry, you can only understand that if you grew up in the 16 bit era.

I don't like M & S @ the OG, but Wintersports are much better suited for a game. And since it features Mario Nintendo's quality control will be in place, meaning the game will likely be good (just imagine some 1080 people helping in the development).

I did grow up during the 16 bit era. Still I don't see what does mario or sonic add to a hockey game. For me it is the opposite. :P

I think Sega is merely finding that the Wii audience best suits many of their franchises. Very importantly Sonic and it's spin-offs. Sonic sells vastly better on Wii than the HD consoles. I can't even imagine NiGHTS or Samba or even HoTD having even been made if not for Wii.

So far Sega hasn't had much success on the HD consoles, although I doubt very much they'll stop trying there but I think Wii will likely become a bigger and bigger part of their development plans.
