Forums - Microsoft - New Kingdom Under Fire II Screenshots

i think they just said pc and console. so no direct mention of which console. i think we can safely conclude it isnt the wii though. (and basing it off the past, 360 is more than probable)

Lets hope it isn't a ps3 exclusive because can you imagine the threads that will be created on this site if it is.

Looking good. Nice to see Reigner is back.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

is old news

this game coming out mutiplateform

I didn't think it'd look as good as that trailer but it's still sexy.

Looking incredible. The fact it can display thousands of enemies on screen at once with that level of detail is an achievement right there.

looks good. I liked the first one on XBox. Is there any release date?

selnor - To be fair, Phantagram has done this many times before. The engine is merely an upgrade from their last one that all the other Kingdom Under Fires' have used (Circle of Doom may be the exception, however).

The old ones supported the same insane number of units, and we saw similar scenarios in N3, but N3 lacked the gameplay (commanding large #s of units rather than 1 person) that the KUF series had.

What KUF2 is doing is not beyond what they've done. Its just a graphical update. Even if that's all KUF2 had, it'd still be an awesome game.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Looks awesome in those screenshots but I'm afraid it will still have that feel of Lord of the rings Conquest (and other similar games that I can't name at the moment lol) where you're in the middle of a huge battlefield but everything except the handful of enemies closest to you seems "fake".

I don't know how to describe this better... But I get the feeling that they use some nasty tricks with the supposedly hundreds of enemies on screen, and I just sense the trick somehow but can't put my finger on it. The massive battlefield just doesn't seem real.

Can someone help me here lol?

A lot like Lair where the enemies that are close to you seem to be actually thinking and controlled.
