Handhelds are many times cheaper to develop for, japanese games sell much much much better on handhelds, development is easier on handhelds, and so on. The only console that seems to have somewhat of a chance to compete with the handhelds in this area is the Wii, and even so it still is much more expensive, and there is less return.


Hate to say it, but i agree with you and its all fact. *sigh* japanese devs are going PSP & DS.

Who said the rpgs aren't good? Also I don't know if you realize this but these people make these games so they can get money. It's their job. So yeah it is more important. I would do the same.

@sc- True, of course you get a few devs who do this *release a fool of games for the handhelds and/or release mediocre family friendly games for the Wii such as that one carnival game* ...

And after all of that is done with they blow 70% - 80% of there cash on huge HD games Like Final Fantasy XIII or mirrors edge.
