97 POINTS FOR AN UNRELEASED GAME??? amazing, thats why i never trust metacritic or any other, because this is ridiculous, ¿how can i analize and score an imcompleted game?

how can you talk about something you obviously know nothing about???

review code of K2 has been in the hands of reviewers for some time now, some reviews have leaked and the OPM ones i guess have been given the green light, they didnt review an incomplete game. Feb. 2 the review floodgates will open and i know that all my trash talking wont blow up in my face....

The game has been "done" for nearly a month; review copies went out quite some time ago. The only reason there aren't more reviews available already is because of the press embargo which ends Feb 2.

Review copies are sent to mag publishers well in advance of the game going on sale so that those publications have time to play the game, beat it, write editorial, and get into a magazine that will be on the newsstands the same month the game is released.

IGN and Eurogamer have both already hinted that their scores will probably be high, within the bounds of what they could publish given the embargo.

I know people who are in the beta thought very highly of this game, but "off to a great start"? Aren't preliminary reviews always extremely positive?

also, who the hell is MEgamers?

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

i just preordered my copy and received the beta code (and a cool ps3/killzone 2 lanyard because the sony rep happened to be in the store). i personally will take it upon myself to give you the most in-depth and insightful review that you won't have to rely on any others come Feb 5th.

just kidding... i'm way too lazy to do something like that. i will tell you how i feel it weighs in against CoD:WaW which i'm currently hooked on (just the multiplayer though).

PSXExtreme posits Killzone 2 could be a new industry benchmark, such as Half-Life.

Too far ,  KZ2 wont be a revolutionary game like half life just a quality shooter which we have plenty of.

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

How can it be revolutionary when it doesn't even have co-op. Halo 3 is much more revolutionary than it will ever be.

So co-op is necessary to the possibility of being revolutionary?  hmm.

More to the point, whoever first jumped from "industry benchmark" to "revolutionary", was wrong to do so.  They don't necessarily mean the same thing.

Please tell me that was a sarcastic post cause if not that is a terrible post.

You are saying that Bioshock, Half-Life, Portal amongst others aren't revolutionary!?!?!
