So the article basically shows that Google is good for the internet and its users and other corporations hate it... what a shock.

Or that Google is slowly expanding its reach into too many markets to be good for the corporate environment and Microsoft is trying to stop it before it grows too large.

Na, Google stands for Net Nuetrality which is a great thing that ISPs dont like. If Google became an ISP tomorrow I would switch instantly because of their stand.

Google is a corporation. If you think they're not evil and they're not pulling shady deals all the time like the Carolina one from a while back then I think you're being naive. The fewer areas they can dominate in the market, the better.

net neutrality? Like their policies in China?

While no corporation is perfect Google is still the better of the bunch.

@Farmland - China forced Google into following Chinese information policy after it expanded there. Basically it was either obey China or get out.

Net Neutrality means that information is freely distributed no matter who the ISP is. No ISP has the right to control what search engine you use, what information you access to, download speeds from websites, etc.

I think they are mad because they couldn't buy it and yet Sony made a partnership with them over the summer. Microsoft is just jealous.

i have an odd feeling you'd feel differently if instead of the Xbox it was the Googlebox 360.
