I think that's taken out of context, I had read this earlier and I took it has Sony was comfortable with their position when they released the PS3... but then maybe I took it out of context.

I agree PSP SW has to show something in 09 or its bust in terms of dev confidence.

PS3 does as good as this year in 09 its still 9 or 10 million n saying thats anywhere near them going bust is stupidity.

ps3 will do better overall in 2009 than 2008. with better games and highly probable price cuts it will do excellent. just ff13 and gt5 exclusivity alone will secure massive sales boosts.

True, it was dead last in 2005, but it was released in late November. How could it surpass the PS2 in one month?

i know ps3 did well in 2008, if it wasnt the unfortunate circumstances of consumer spending due to looming recession it would have sold more. but thats the way it goes sometimes.
