Ok so i played the original banjo on N64 and was ecstatic to hear that there would be a third installment exclusive to the X360.  However other than the original trailer (i think from e3 2006?), there has been no content or significant updates on this title to my knowledge.  General consensus was that it'd be shown at E3 but Microsoft went all "only this year's stuff" on us.  I might be missing something, but i cant find ANY info on this game since the trailer.  Can anyone tell me whats happening with this title?

Im afraid, that game was the best game to have ever come out on the n64(In my opinion). I swear if they cancel the game I will post something terrible in the xbox forums about microsoft. That game is the only chance I have to get a 360. If it doesnt come out I will pass.(It should have been on the wii, with some slightly better graphics(and better controls) the game would have been the best thing out, but microsoft had to be homosexual and bought rare)

I have a feeling that a trailer of the game will be shown at either Lepzig, Tokyo, or Toronto (X07).

Wasn't Nintendo the ones that sold Rare?

I knew you would be the first to replay leo :P. I loved this one the N64, too bad someone stole my cartridge. And don't worry that much about announcements of this game, you know... it's Rare, Mr. "my games take years to be ready"

Thats not the case with the banjo kazooie series..

I agree legend, they have to say something this year. Its the 360's defining platformer (Kameo wasnt bad, but this dumps on it), they have to have something on it floating around to remind ppl of its existence during christmas. One of the games shows will have something.

Definitely one of my past favorites. No doubt they are working on it but its still a ways off.

The most recent I could find them mentioning more details was posted back in February 2007 so an update would be nice. 

  "The new Banjo game may still be a while off, but this hasn't stopped Rare concept artist Ryan Stevenson telling us what to expect from the game.

"We're creating a new Banjo world but with the same characters as before," Stevenson told GameTrailers in a recent interview. "It's been many years since Banjo was around and a lot has changed. There is a lot of new tech that we can pour into the world now, making it a richer place."

Stevenson didn't provide much more information, but did say that the "Stop 'n' Swap" function has been removed."

Rare did mention the last E3 would be a "quiet before the storm" for them.

i dont think its died, i read something recent about it, something at a convention a couple of months ago, it might have been e3 07

lol, dont get me wrong, ive got my own biases, we all do. That said leo, you have to admit your ps3 fanboyisms tend to be a little over the top. I recall you saying something along the lines of "GT5 cars are more realistic than real life." So yeah, i dont think the irony of you ending up buying a 360 would be lost on many ppl.
