Forums - Microsoft - No audio coming out of 360 connected to a hdtv through vga.

The J man in his infinite wealth got a 42 inch sharp aquos and cannot get audio.

Does anyone have this tv? Is there some settings you have to put it in to make it work.

And also do not suggest getting a 3.5mm adaptor the J man is to lazy to go to futureshop.

And also is there a vga cable available for ps3?

The VGA cable is video only. That's why there are two audio cables connected to it. Plug them into the audio ports on your TV and you should be good.

The J man is a messiah not an idiot.

He has already tried that but to no avail.

Check to make sure your 360 is recognizing the audio out being the VGA cable.

As for your question about the VGA cable for the PS3,  yes it comes with one in the box

Why not HDMI?

Has the J-man plugged the audio outputs into the correct plug on his television set?

Tease.

By the way, speaking of yourself in the 3rd person is a sign of insanity.
