That's quite funny considering Galaxy is probably one of the most beautiful games I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

This is retarded, don't just remember Halo go back and play it, it looks like butt (by today's standards), the conduit looks awesome in some screens, and sub-par in others.. I'll wait for it to be released before saying anything about it

chasmatic12 - I've never played SMG honestly, and it does look great, but it's debatable that it looks better than a top-teir XB1 game. I'm a huge Nintendo fan too, so I've no axe to grind. Loving the DS/DS lite. But the Wii has the dubious distinction of being the only Nintendo system I've never owned. I'm sure it's good and all, but not their best system IMO.

Considering that cartoony Xbox titles (that people have shown in some other threads) were not above Gamecube titles of the same style, and that SMG is definitely above GC games, I'd have to say yes, it looks better than any XB title. Especially when we consider that SMG runs at 60 fps which was not that common with XB games as far as I've seen.

Of course this won't stop someone from posting a reply with a Super Mario Sunshine screenshot claiming it looks almost the same as Galaxy when it clearly doesn't (barely any shading effects for a start).

That's definitely true, and I still don't know why... Metroid Prime 3 looks much better on a TV than any of the screenshots I've seen.

Probably because most people are watching videos of an unfinished product, streaming over an online connection in a little window on 19" screens???
