Sonic Heroes, besides the terrible voice acting and team chaotix it was a good game
Going really retro, my favorite 16 bit rpgs were shadowrun on genesis, and snes.
The genesis one was maybe the first cool open world city game, sort of real time combat with a neat cyberpunk story (also real close to source material)
The snes one was an adventure more set in that world.
I always thought they were unique givin the setting and use of guns, and more gritty dialogue etc.
When MS announced a new one, i was jazzed, till i played it . . . lame-o shooter.
If they made a real rpg on it . . . it'd be like lord of the rings meets blade runner, and be very cool.
Only game that reminded me of it was maybe deus ex.

Pretty much anything made by Suda 51. Give that man a sack of money and some credit.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Lost Odyssey. Even though it got good reviews, it got unfairly penalised for being old school, I get that it isn't perfect due to long load times and a not-so-good villain but penalising nearly a whole point isn't right. It deserved a 8.9 or even 9.0 in my eyes.
Cool boarders series for the ps and splashdown, transworld surf for the ps2
