Forums - Microsoft - Star Ocean: The Last Hope European Release Date

Great news for european X360 owners and JRPG lovers, Star Ocean: The Last Hope european release date has been announced for April 24th =D, one month after the NA release.
Thankfully Tri-Ace didn't go the Namco way not releasing ToV here in europe, which is a real shame.^

That is good news. With tales, not only did they shaft PAL gamers but its one the 5% of games that are region protected. If they did not do that then we could at least import the US version. You would think they do what they could to even slightly raise sales.

-UBISOFT BOYCOTT!-

Unfortunatly it seems that most JRPG publishers are going the S-E way and give the shaft to us europeans, which is really a shame, since it's the market that is expanding the most in the past few years.

I've never liked extended delays, my hype disappears and I hardly ever end up buying the game when it finally gets released. Any idea when its getting released in Australia?

fixed. And to Bandai Namco´s defense, they don´t have a publishing arm in Europe. It´s Atari that does the publishing of their games and they decide when and which game to translate and release in Europe.

And we know how atrocious Atari is...

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Those screen shots look great

I have seen the 24th April date before, but no SE source yet...

However, this is great news, I did not expect it until June

Sweet! This was the reason I bought my 360. Thank god SE are actually keeping a decent timeframe for this game, I've chewed through two muzzles in anger that the delay of ToV's EU release.

Well, even if it isn't Namco, the fact remains that we are not getting the games anyway. It has been this way since the Nes days, and it's not goig to change any time soon. That's why we are getting Persona 4 months after the NA release too.

Well, at least , we are getting P4. And we have all SMT games on PS2, which is good. Yes, it a long time to wait for them, but in the end, we get them, which is much better, than, for example, Xenosaga. Only second game, pff.

For ToV, I getting very bad feeling, about this. Release date probably change from "2009" to "Never".

At least, we getting SO4 pretty fast. And I really, really hope, that SO will be great.
