Im always pondering things as most now with my threads ive pondered across something that i can't answer though so i need ur pondering to help me with my pondering

1 Were do the #'s come from if i remember correct sites like next gen wars says something at the bottom about how they get there #'s

2 How does who ever get the #'s get info for all the SW and HW on a weekly bases thats insane were do they find this info

3 Is it just this ioi brett guy that figures the #'s out or does he have gang that helps him out

4 Who updates the charts for all the graphs for SW and HW is it just this ioi brett guy or do the mods and game data base guys help him out

5 Do you look at the charts for SW and HW other than wen there is a argument in a thread and u need to look back on the graphs and data.  I look at the graphs more than i read and post as most threads are people defending there console

6 How many active members does this site have looking at Gballzack's profile she had a glitch were a friends request was sent to every account there is like 2700 on there now so u have to think that a few didn't accept her request

You answered your own question. "VG Chartz estimated sell-through figures are arrived at by tracking sample data from an ever-expanding panel of retail partners and benchmarking the sample data against known reference points (manufacturer shipment figures for example)."

In terms of active members that use the forums, there are probably 5-10,000.

In terms of active members including those that come here just for the numbers I think there could be close to 30,000.

Originally I believe it was just ioi and 1 other person.... now I think 2 of the admins help with figures, probably The Source and DKII.... but it is stll mainly ioi.

Yea, there is a page for all of your questions about finding the way the numbers are generated.

How many daily visitors are there? Has ioi ever let that out?

Estimates base of the stores and companies that VGChartz gets data from. (The same way NDP does it.)

2 How does who ever get the #'s get info for all the SW and HW on a weekly bases thats insane were do they find this info

*see answer #1,  They don't get all the data, but they get enough to estimate.

He has a gang.  The VGChartz Pwner's.  I believe he has 3 or four other people help him with collecting the data.

The numbers are updated by ioi/brett (he goes by Brett now), but the charts and graphs are just code that pull the numbers from the database and state them graphicly.
