F3 has caught my attention. and since payday is coming up. I'm thinking of buying it. but previous WRPGs have disappointed me. so convince me.

i was excited for it. then i saw VATS at e3 and though the game looked really gay. i rented in on gamefly 2 weeks ago and ended up buying it. so... GO FOR IT

how's the story? can you give me a quick summary without spoiling too much?

Well the story basically involves you growing up in an underground facility, shut off from the world. Around when you become an adult your father goes missing, and you go on a search outside to find him.

It's a decent story, with some cool characters for side mission stuff.

OT: Seeing as you don't own Valkyria yet (going by game collection) you may want to go with that first since it will more fit your JRPG sensibilities.

What are we talking in gameplay hours?

Exclusive DLC of Fallout 3 is coming to the XBox 360. PS3 version of Fallout 3 is still a AAA game in its own right. The best version of the game is the PC version providing you have a PC powerful enough to be able to play it on its highest resolution setting.

is this game hard???

 At first when you have no weapons it can be, but once you start leveling up and get better weapons it's a cake walk. Vats makes things easier as well, but its your choice of how you play, with it or just like a FPS.

As for gameplay, its certainly up there. I dont know how long I've put into it, but its more than 20+ hours and I havent gone half way through the main story. There's loads of side missions and exploration that kills the hours away. The main mission would probably take only a dozen hours to complete I think.
