Microsoft wanted Bioshock to stay exclusive too...

I think Microsoft are capable of getting smaller companies and developers to be exclusive but to convince a huge gaming behemoth like EA or Activision just won't happen, and it simply doesn't make sense for EA to have any game exclusive to one platform.

Not day and date and I highly doubt that Mass Effect 1 stuff either. Sounds more than a little fishy with what the Bioware guys have said to date so I doubt it.

EA is doing bad financially... so to fix that problem they will spend more money to bring a version to the PS3, keep in mind PS3 didn't even have part 1 on their system...

O but wait... they will spend more money to port Part 1 to the PS3..

That did well with Bioshock.

It's a Blu-Ray Disc, just put part 1 & 2 on one disc...

Yeah AnarchyWest, I also think that MS will have some exclusive DLC for 360's version. Even if the 360 has a bigger userbase, porting a game on PS3 is still important for some dev. Let's just have a look at tomb raider underworld, prince of persia and mirror's edge sales ...
