MGS4 had better first week then GT5p, 43k compared to 32k in first week. I hope it will have better legs there.

Strong week for Italy. MGS4 sold quite a bit more than was previously thought. Attach rate for MGS4 is 8% just a little below UK attach rate for first week (9%). The debut turned out to be bigger than GT5P and it is third biggest PS3 debut ever (after GTAIV and PES2008).

43k sold/95k shipped in Italy: if the ratio Shipped/Sold is similar all over EUi think that konami's statement (1 million copies sold) makes some sense...500k sold to consumer and 1M to retailers.

OK thanks prosugno. So my estimates of mgs4 between 12k and 17k is good and was only for the normal pack.

MGS4 dropped 63%, that's 4 per cent more than in UK. Attach ratio is at 11%. MGS4 second week is almost as good as GTAIV (360) second week (15.75k vs 16.35k) despite significatnly worse first week (43.1k vs 51.3k). Will MGS4 be able to outsell GTAIV (360) in the long run?

I also noticed that Cooking Mama 2 broke 100k (it'a at around 107k). Probably we are going to see it in Italy top 10 for year 2008. Last year 121.5k was needed to be on 10th place and Cooking Mama 2 sales are rising.

GTAIV (PS3) should also make to top 10 with sales at 156.3k (June 22nd), X360 version on June 15th was at 92.75k (62% of GTA sales were on Sony platform and 38% on MS). Attach ratio was at 29% for PS3 version and 21% for X360 on June 15th.

Italy GTAIV sales of 245.25k (on 15th of June) put them a little less than half France sales of 525k (through May) and less than 1/5 of UK sales (1.212 mln through May with 90% coverage).
