The game looks kickass as usual. I was a little worried that the mech parts will be a gimmicky but my worries have been put to rest as the look really fun. I shouldn't have worried tho as Monolith madw Shogo back in the day and that was as tight as it gets for a mech game.

One thing I loved about FEAR 1 is the fact that it doesn't really try to go for a cinematic experience every2 minutes. These newer action games (Gears 2, MGS4, COD:WaW and by the looks of things Killzone 2) tend to interupt gameplay every 3 minutes to show you some general guy yelling "We are gonna get thes sons of bitches" or some other stupid cutscene to make it seem like its a movie. In FEAR when the gunfight is on, its fuckin on...and there are no interuptions. And when the gunfight stops...there are horror elements to worry about. So the gamer never gets to sit back, relax and watch the game... It looks like this aspect will make it on to FEAR 2 as well which is AWESOME!

I've played the demo (qore) and game seems pretty cool. Another interesting FPS on the radar. Alma is back.

Well Im quite jelous. Like the rest of the lowlifes i have to wait until next week.

Im probably going to pick it up on the PC and 360 since PC will be the best experience and 360 is where the buddies are at.

As long as it's nothing like the awful expansion, I'll snap this up on day one (Yes, I know: the expansion wasn't done by the original devs.)

Ok,it does look pretty good Fps.
But its should be Fear 2.
Enemies seems to be dam hard to kill,and if you shoot them with shotgun they are like "Hey why did you shoot me" boom "Hey did you see this guy" boom "What?" boom "He keeps shooting me" boom "Well you should die" boom "Ok".
And what about Fear???

Sucks how the point man won't be Alma's son. That's kind of pushing me away from getting it

 The thing is, Monolith knows how to tell a compelling story. Looking at FEAR, Condamned 1 and 2...so im sure it will be somehow connected to the whole..."inception"

I never played F.E.A.R 1 but I always wanted to. This one looks pretty good too. Oh and I don't know what you are talking about, I've seen levels of KZ2 and the cut scenes don't interrupt the action.
