"In anticipation of the Killzone 2 release, SCEA will also be launching a new television ad campaign this week in collaboration with Killzone 2 developer Guerrilla Games, Los Angeles based Zoic Studios and ad agency Deutsch LA. Coined the “Bullet” commercial, the new ad was rendered entirely in-engine via the incredible power of the Killzone 2 engine and PS3 technology to preserve the unique visual and epic gameplay experience.

"Every single frame of this commercial was directly rendered on a PS3 without the need for additional tweaking or touching up. We're very proud that our game engine technology has reached the point where we don't have to resort to software pre-rendering,” said Hermen Hulst, Managing Director. “In that regard it is a testament to our commitment to deliver on what we promise. What you see is what you get.”

SCEA will also be releasing a playable version of the ad, where users can control the camera view to explore the behind-the-scenes techniques used to create the ad. This version will also include a director’s commentary explaining the team’s efforts to develop a campaign that was true to the actual gaming experience"

I sometimes like hearing commentaries and how they did stuff. I enjoyed playing Half-Life 2: Episode 1, 2, Lost Coast, and Team Fortress 2 and hearing Valve explain what they did and why. For example, when Alyx asks dog if he did the math early in Episode 1, shaking his head was actually a bug and all the playtesters responded positiviely to it.

i bought killzone 2 full game here in my country ( kuwait in middle east ) yesterday and let me share with you some info about the game . this game is mind blowing its awesome it have best Graphics on consoles and i tried it and find out that the controls in multiplayer mode is different than the demo version . in campaign mode the controls will be same as the demo version , it will be heavy and weight , but in multiplayer mode the controls will be light and fast , and there is 1 extra thing in control options menu in multiplayer mode called crouch hold , when you disabled it you only need to tab to crouch , just press L2 to crouch then press again to stand , no need to hold , this will help so you can use your left hand to hold aim instead of hold crouch , and there is no cover system in multiplayer mode but you can use cover only when you mount MG ( heavy machine gun placed on the ground ) in campaign controls its best to use standard 1 or 2 cuz its works better for the cover system , and in multiplayer use alternate 2 + enable hold zoom

read that from the ign boards dont kno if it holds any truth.

Yes, since there is no cover system in multiplayer, you'll be able to toggle crouch.

im in LOVE with the cover system. and with this game. the 10 minute demo of killzone is way better then the boring campaig of gears 1 and 2 combined. seriously! and since i quickly moved on from gears 2 it seems like killzone multiplayer is the one thats gonna keep me busy for long time. since they ruin what basically was the best thing about gers, the multiplayer. but ho cares 7 DAYS!!!!!!!!
