With that mfr date and you having the HDMI port, you most certainly have the latest hardware. I highly doubt you are going to have sort of hardware failure. That said, i've heard some reports that they nyko intercooler has been known to rob enough power from the 360 that it actually causes the 360 unit itself to get hotter than it would otherwise. There are numerous reports of people having the connection point between the 360 and nyko getting so hot that the connection point melts and fuses the cooler to the box. The pelican pro cooler is the one I think everyone likes. Do some quick research but caution on that nyko.
