I didn't offend anyone, and how about all the SONY fanboy threads in this site? Should them be closed too?

With or without price cut, the 360 is outselling the PS3 every week and the Wii is outselling the 360 and PS3 combined.

That's all, like it or not. And a price cut isn't going to do nothing because MS will "price cut" also.

PS3 is actually in front of X360. We count the sales from the launch dates of the systems. X360 has had a year start on PS3. Same point in time PS3 is ahead of X360 by 3.5 million consoles. PS3 is selling more in first four months of 2009 than what X360 sold in first four months of 2008.

*With price cut PS3 would rocket pass the X360 and PS3 would overtake X360 in total sales.

PS3 destiny is to overtake XBox 360 in world wide sales it will be achieved. PS3 with price cut would soon catch up to XBox 360 and overtake in total sales. "Playstation" has more fans then 'XBox" and PS2 owners will eventually buy a PS3 when the price is right.

He's trying to argue the ps3 should be measured against last year's 360 in order to pimp the only positive metric he could find.

I don't think reason will work...

 we however don't live in a world of delusions... Hard numbers are all that matter and the in truth the Xbox 360 had a very slow first year.  It wasn't until the PS3 and Wii launched that things started to move a bit faster.

 We all need a dream buddy... All those "PS2 owners" still have their PS2s and when they decide what console they want to play Madden on (when it's not release on the PS2 anymore) you tell me what console they are more likely to jump on board with?
