I don't care what situation sONY are in...if they make PSN not free I won't ever play a PS3 game online

Paying for online gaming is pretty stupid. I would probably go for option C, unless a must-play MP game is released, then I'll sign up for a month just as I do for my 360.

IMO, i think the best way is to have an option to keep online MP free (even if it's slower or has longer download times), while having a premium online service with faster online connections, earlier downloads, and other exclusive features.

As long as they keep online MP free, i'll be satisfied.

It costs $$$ to maintain the PSN network. Someone has to pay for the servers, the maintenance and even the broadband access to get their computers online. Sure, they said they wouldn't charge, but why be mad if they choose to do that?

If you like PSN much, and have had PSN for free all this time, especially in light of this crisis, you would bail on Sony over a few dollars a month?

Dude, I have prolly played more PS2 games on my PS3 than actual PS3 games and yeah, I vowed to never spend money on a PS3 unless it had full BC in it, but times change. Would I rebuy another PS3 that had software BC? Depends on the price. But ... I'd never buy one without it. I'd trade games for another one, but never pay for one.
