I do not know why I even try and respond to this stuff.  But the last few times I checked M$ was winning europe by a lot the last few months.   But maybe I was just dreaming.

Pachter is talkin' out his ass with this one. Sony can't even afford to drop the price of the PS3. Even if they did, Microsoft could just lower the price of the Pro and Elite - they have plenty of wiggle room. So sure, PS3 sales will increase with a price drop, but all MS would have to do is drop the price the two top 360 skus and I'm sure it'd maintain a sales lead over the PS3. Even if sales are neck and neck, the PS3 couldn't pass the 360 in overall sales installed base.

Isn't Pachter the SAME GUY, who has been consistently WRONG about this generations for 2 years now? I can't fathom why people are still holding onto what he says, since he's got as much cred as the hip hop gamer show guy.

Two Pachter predictions:

- PS3 will win due to Blu-Ray.

- Wii HD to come out in 2009-2010.
