A few weeks ago my mother came to visit me on my work from home day. I had to tele conference for 2 hours so I said she could watch my new TV in my den. When I came out to grab a vitamin water I looked in and she was doing Wii Fit. I just about burst out laughing at the sight of my mom using any technology (it's just not her). So a bit later when I was walking past she was all out playing Shaun white snowboarding, I was just amazed how much fun she was having. The Wii has really annoyed me here recently and it's sat in the corner( not my personal cup of tea, but I don't hate!). So her B-day was today and I spent last saturday shopping her a gift. Nothing. Couldn't find a thing that jumped out at me. So when I went home and saw the Wii still hooked up it clicked. i unhooked everything and gathered all the games and packed it all up in a box. She was getting my Wii!
Boy you should have seen the look on her face when she opened it up! She was ecstatic! I'm completely amazed at how much she loves it. So I just brought one more casual into the world and thank you Nintendo for the wonderful smile you brought my mother!
