And i understand they have human rights. But person A cant have considered person B s human rights when brutally killing them.

However the justice system should never sink to the level of the criminals

If your family or most loved one got killed, you would be happy with the Criminal to get away with it by been put in jail?. Lots of prisoners dont find jail a punishment, maybe thats the problem why people take the chances and risks where they could go to jail.

Lots of Murderers don't even get caught. Don't let CSI and all that bull fool you. Even if everyone gets the death penalty, somehow you'd have to catch the people. I'm pretty sure most people who commit a crime don't think they'll get caught. Statistically close to 40% won't be caught.

Anti. He who deserves the death penalty is better off rotting in prison, a far better punishment. Death is just too nice for a murderer.

Thats why families of victims aren't allowed in juries, justice should be blind.

Most people who commit crimes don't actually think of the consequences.

But if they are aware of severe consequences that may make them think twice about what they are preparing to do?

Why do you feel going to jail is "geting away with it"?  It's not.  I don't know how you can say that.

Anyway, although I am against the death penalty, there are a couple of things I should also note:

1. The U.S. Constitution clearly allows it (obviously this doesn't mean we have to do it, and we shouldn't)

2. I'm all for those guilty of murder, for whom I hold nothing but contempt, performing hard physical labor for the rest of their days in any attempt to provide what resitution they can to the families of their victims.  These scum should be out digging ditches every day for the rest of their lives.  The state can take the earnings courts have decreed must be provided for such work and confiscate them to give the families of victims some recompense.  And I don't think they should have anything considered beyond basic, i.e. no TV, no double bed, etc.  Certainly nothing that a homeless man on the street wouldn't have.
