I was at the games store just now and they have a great promotion on GC/Xbox games. They have several Splinter Cell titles, I never played anything in that series.

Are the games worth it? Which is best, and are any of them lousy ports that I should know about?

Xbox versions of Splinter Cell games were always the definitive versions, Gamecube usually got the shit ports.

the tom clancy games last gen certainly made me game more on xbox, over my ps2 and gamecube.

splinter cell games are excellent and are well well worth it.

i recomend splinter cell - splinter cell 2 pandora tomorrow - and splinter cell chaos theory.

make sure you get them on xbox, to bad the new splinter cell was messed up, i was thoroughly dissapointed, im still scratching my head on why they included them silly jhon brown missions.

heres hoping SC conviction carries on from past games.

1)Xbox/PC versions are the best
2)PS2 - though not graphically the best. they're still great games. they also support online (IDK about Pandora Tomorrow). controls are just as good as the xbox versions
3)GC version- are the worst: bad controls, no online, full of glitches. you can only get them if you have no Xbox/PS2/PC.

Thanks a lot guys! It seems the GC versions aren't worth it, I'll try to get the Xbox ones (they're all emulated on the xbox 360 according to the wiki list).

The Splinter Cell games are pretty good. Get them on the Xbox, not the GC. The GC ones were pretty bad.

i used to still have the SC games when i first got my 360, they are emulated very well u will love them i promise.

you will piss your sides when you are hiding and a guard walks past saying "oh crap ive lost him" simply brill.

I have all the Splinter Cell game for Xbox and they look fantastic on the 360.

Definitely get them. Splinter Cell is one of my favorite series - if given a choice I would take Conviction this year before Halo: ODST.

I have all three (not Double Agent) on my Gamecube and I love em.
