I felt the opposite way. To me, the campaign for Gears of War 2 seemed to drone on forever, and I kept wishing it would end. There were definitely some good parts (and the finale was great), but it felt as if it took forever to wind down.

exactly,,,that's all i care now.
Sony will probably make another artsy ad (without showing the beautiful game play)for it and they will air it 3 to 4 time and they expect halo/gears numbers.I m sorry but that's not happening.
i think this will deliver more than i expect. I hope it will, it has many years to happen

the most impressive thing is that the guy is a PC FPS lover,,,,it's not really easy to impress those guys.

Goodscore and things seem to be shaping up nicely.
However I'll hold judgement until one of the recognised reviewers publishes.
I'm sure Megagamer is a lovely review site but I've never heard of them before.
