I'd assume the same if Matt didn't repeat roughly this same line every time Wii Music is brought up.
And that's not what "elitist" means.
I, for a foolish moment, thought IGN were admitting error in giving Wii Music such a low score when clearly there is a market for such games.
Seriously the mainstream gaming media needs to get off their collective high horses and learn how to properly review these games for the kiddies and casuals or whatever you'd like to call them, or else just not bother because currently their reviews are clearly not relevant for this kind of game.

I haven't played Wii Music so I won't say anything about the game itself, but their "campaign" against Wii Music is just as bad as Daemon Hatfield's reviews.

That's clearly unfair comparison. Those titles don't have PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 in front.
IGN really has hit a new low with this. It was ok as long as they gave the game a bad review, but to go out of their way, trying to dissuade people from buying a game? Thats not gaming journalism. Its just plain douche-baggery
