Any fans of "Garfield Minus Garfield" here? The name says it all, it's Garfield comic strips without Garfield in them (believe it or not).

I do love that site. I saw it a few months ago, but I haven't been back lately. That's great stuff. It actually got a small article in Time magazine.

I was just looking at the first one you posted. These are classic.

Also, it seems that a collection of these strips were published under Jim Davis' name, with the guy who thought it up writing the foreword.

I don't find them that funny. Is it supposed to imply he's crazy?

Yeah. Here's what the creator of the site wanted to portray:

"Garfield Minus Garfield is a site dedicated to removing Garfield from the Garfield comic strips in order to reveal the existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb."

That's pretty deep! o_O
